PizzaExpress is a UK pizza chain whose gluten-free processes are accredited by Coeliac UK. Romana and Classic pizzas, Dough Balls and some pasta can be ordered gluten-free; the gluten-free pizza base is made in a separate gluten-free bakery and arrives with a purple slicer or sticker so it is easy to identify. Only loose gluten-free rice flour is used in the kitchen.
The kitchen is shared with gluten, and PizzaExpress says it cannot guarantee any dish is completely gluten-free. The Coeliac UK accreditation does not cover delivery orders, so dine in or collect. Lasagne and cannelloni are not gluten-free.
