Indigo at One Aldwych
About
Indigo is the relaxed fine-dining restaurant at the One Aldwych hotel, on the mezzanine overlooking the Lobby Bar, with large windows onto theatreland. Gluten and dairy have been out of the kitchen since 2012, and the restaurant states that every lunch and dinner dish is entirely gluten-free, so there is no gluten on the menu to cross-contact with.
The creative British menu is overseen by Executive Chef Edward Dutton and changes with the seasons, covering meat, fish and vegan dishes, plus set lunch, pre-theatre, tasting and Sunday roast menus. The house gluten-free sourdough is a favourite with coeliac diners, and even the beer-battered fish is safe to order. Reviewers repeatedly say you would never guess the food is free from gluten and dairy.
